Christian Terrorists Making the World a Dangerous Place

This week’s news showed Britain to be at a greater risk from terrorism than any other Western nation thanks to the increased threat from Christian terrorist groups from Ireland.

Whenever I hear of people killed by a bombing on the news I assume Christian terrorism is responsible. I acknowledge all terrorists are not Christians BUT most people killed by terrorism are killed by Christian terrorists. Christian state terrorism delivered ‘shock and awe’ to Iraq, Vietnam, Pakistan, Afghanistan and MANY others.

We must not forget Christian nuclear terrorism on Japan (Hiroshima and Nagasaki), though our American Christian apologist friends would state all Christian nuclear butchery was a “necessary” act – it was not “necessary”.

The number of lives taken by Christian terrorism has never been numbered, nor the number of bombs Christian terrorists have dropped on innocent men, women and children. Christian raping and torturing has never been numbered either. Christian support of Israeli terrorism against Palestinians and other Arab people has never been quantified in lives taken.

Christian terrorism leads to Muslim terrorism

Of course Jewish terrorism is funded by Christians but what about Muslim terrorism? What about these nuts who fly planes into buildings or blow up busses in London? Well, it appears Muslim terrorism is reactionary – a product of Christian terrorism. I mean, when you have American Christian terrorists dropping bombs on Muslim heads, or propping up tyrants to subjugate Muslims, some misguided folk amongst a faith which numbers over a billion (Islam) have taken to using similar brutal and indiscriminate methods as Christian terrorists.

They always tell me Christianity is a religion of peace but I see their communities producing so many terrorists, supporting terrorists of other faiths (Jewish) as well as producing imitators (Muslim terrorists) and wonder…

Christians please STOP and CONDEMN the terrorists in your churches

Christian terrorists are making the whole world an unsafe place. I just wish Christian leaders would condemn terrorism, hand out leaflets in their churches to sway Christians away from terrorism, stop funding foreign terrorism (Israel) and stop blaming others (Muslims) for all this terrorism when we all know nobody does terrorism like Christians. Basically, Christians need to get out of denial and begin to reform.

Perhaps people will begin to explore their religious text (Bible) for a reason behind all the Christian terrorist murdering, raping, torturing and general butchering….

All American Bombardier

I’ve noticed so many extremist American Christians on the net propagating messages of hatred against Muslims (at least these cyber American Christians are not dropping bombs on the Muslims, yet) and subsequently have a reinforced negative view of their Christian society in America. With so much support of hatred there is little wonder the number of lives taken by American Christian terrorists are so plentiful

Here is a list* of the countries bombed by the United States since the end of the Second World War:

Afghanistan 1998, 2001-
Bosnia 1994, 1995
Cambodia 1969-70
China 1945-46, 1950-53
Congo 1964

Iraq 1991-2000s
Iran 1987
Kuwait 1991
Lebanon 1983, 1984
Libya 1986, 2011
Nicaragua 1980s Pakistan 2003, 2006-
Palestine 2010
Panama 1989
Peru 1965
Somalia 1993, 2007-08, 2010
Sudan 1998
Vietnam 1961-73
Yemen 2002, 2009

Note that these countries represent roughly one-third of the people on earth.

Excellent post Yahya! It should be noted that the difference between 'Muslim' terrorism and Christian terrorism is that those people who do terrorist acts in the name of Islam are vigilantes and they are rogues. Islam sanctions war by a Khilafa, and even than their are strict rules of engagement laid down by the Messenger of Allah.

Where as Christians have the mandate of 'sola scriptura' they are a law unto themselves. They are free to interpret the scripture without guidance from a Church authority (atleast in the case of Protestants). When Christians (theonomist, dominonist,) among the many others commit terrorism they do so with a mandate from the Bible.

In Islam we have a scholastic tradition of over 1000 years.

In Christianity (Protestantism especially) you have the Bible and your own inner voice (Holy Spirit???) inspiring you to blow up abortion clinics, commit suicide, or massacre Muslims in Bosnia and S Lebanon) etc....

People like Bin Laden can easily be contained by the scholastic tradition of Islam. Bin Laden can quote a text. The traditional scholars of Islam can quote context and context of the text.

These people can be refuted into oblivion.

People like Timothy McVeigh can not easily be contained. He has the inner voice (of Jesus or the Holy Spirit) and a sure fire conviction that his particular reading of the book of Revelation, or any other ambiguous text of the Bible)...

Those people cannot be refuted they can only be purged.

In Assam, the Manmasi National Christian Army (MNCA), an extremist group from the Hmar tribe, were charged with forcing Hindus to convert at gunpoint.[26] Seven or more Hmar youths were charged with visiting Bhuvan Pahar, a Hindu village, armed with guns, and pressuring residents to convert to Christianity.[27] They also desecrated temples by painting crosses on the walls with their blood.[27] The Sonai police, along with the 5th Assam Rifles, arrested 13 members of the MNCA, including their commander-in-chief. Guns and ammunition were seized

RomaniaOrthodox Christian movements in Romania, such as the Iron Guard and Lăncieri, which have been characterized by Yad Vashem and Stanley G. Payne as anti-semitic and fascist, respectively, were responsible for involvement in the Bucharest pogrom, and political murders during the 1930s.[36][37][38][39](p37)[40]

India[edit] TripuraThe National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT), a rebel group operating in Tripura, North-East India, has been described as engaging in terrorist violence motivated by their Christian beliefs. [15] It is classified by the National Memorial Institute for the Prevention of Terrorism as one of the ten most active terrorist groups in the world, and has been accused of forcefully converting people to Christianity.[16][17] The insurgency in Nagaland was originally led by the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN), and it is continued today by a faction named "NSCN–Isaac Muivah", which explicitly calls for a "Nagalim for Christ".[18] The state government reports that the Baptist Church of Tripura supplies arms and gives financial support to the NLFT

Some scholars, such as Steve Bruce, a sociology professor at the University of Aberdeen, argue that the conflict in Northern Ireland is primarily a religious conflict, its economic and social considerations notwithstanding.[7] Professor Mark Juergensmeyer has also argued that some acts of terrorism were "religious terrorism... - in these cases, Christianity".[8]:19-20 Others, such as John Hickey, take a more guarded view

EnglandThe early modern period in Britain saw religious conflict resulting from the Reformation and the introduction of Protestant state churches.[4] The Gunpowder Plot was a failed attempt to blow up the Palace of Westminster, the English seat of government. Peter Steinfels characterizes this plot as a notable case of religious terrorism.[5]

The Irish Republican Army regarded bombing English targets as militarily and symbolic. They were responsible for attacks in England over decades, starting in 1939, and then a new campaign commenced after Bloody Sunday in 1972

Beginning after the Civil War, members of the Protestant-led,[52] Ku Klux Klan organization began engaging in arson, beatings, cross burning, destruction of property, lynching, murder, rape, tar-and-feathering, and whipping against African Americans, Jews, Catholics, and other social or ethnic minorities.

They were explicitly Christian terrorist in ideology, basing their beliefs on a "religious foundation" in Christianity. [53] The goals of the KKK included, from an early time on, an intent to, "reestablish Protestant Christian values in America by any means possible," and believe that "Jesus was the first Klansman."

Verbalizer,

I can point you to 17,000 "rogue" acts committed by Muslims in the last ten years; can you point to a single theonomist who has engaged in terrorism?

The proof is in the pudding my dear boy.

Of course the proof is also in refuting your claim that context helps Islam and that Christians are "a law unto themselves", but that would take longer than is necessary when the facts on the ground (as the above question will tease out) are right there to hand.

BY the way, it would help to get your facts straight. Mcveigh did not claim to be a Christian. That's old news. It is almost as old the black mud some people were created from (according to your Qur'an).

Who is the father of Joseph?

And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.[MAT 1:16]

And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli.[LUK 3:23]

Who was at the Empty Tomb? Is it:

In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulcher.[MAT 28:1]

And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.[MAR 16:1]

The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.[JOH 20:1]

Is Jesus equal to or lesser than?

I and my Father are one[JOH 10:30]

Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
[JOH 14:28]

"I can point you to 17,000 "rogue" acts committed by Muslims in the last ten years"

Go on then, and do make sure that each of these acts are individually well documented (with proper context) and verified by an objective source(s).

Look forward to hearing your response.

You are truly delusional. If I were you I would start taking you medication before it is too late.

@ Bartimaeus

Uncomfortable reading isn't it.

How about you take another look at that list of countries bombed by the United States since WW2 and then consider the obvious...

You will not find anything even remotely similar in scale from a Muslim country. They are no where near as aggressive and dangerous to their neighbours.

For instance, how many countries has Iran aggressively invaded and bombed into oblivion since WW2?

At your leisure, go and investigate the issue. Look into any Muslim majority country that you like and believe me you will be hard pressed to find anything remotely comparable with the violence perpetrated by countries with a Judeo-Christian culture and heritage.

If you really feel like pushing the boat out look into those Muslim countries that are most observent when it comes to Sharia.

One of the reasons I choose Iran as an example is because these countries tend not to be so aggressive as their secular Muslim counterparts...

Should tell you something, wouldn't you say?

Or perhaps it is you sir who are delusional?

Bismillah

I agree the talk of Iranian aggression is a massive reversal of reality.

While we have various provocative statements by President Ahmadinejad, which were given heavy coverage by the media what's actually going on in the real world is that Iran is surrounded by countries occupied by US forces or with substantial US military presences.

While Iran has invaded or attacked nobody in five hundred years, Israel has attacked several of its neighbours and maintains an illegal occupation now over forty years old.

Good 'ol Anthony Rogers... your always good for a chuckle or two.

"It is almost as old the black mud some people were created from (according to your Qur'an)."

If you have such a problem with Black people Anthony maybe you might want to clear your cookies and browser settings so you can stand on higher moral ground.

Something tells me you have a thing for the 'darkies' my dear boy.

I assume you are talking to me since you brought up the issue of black mud. Not sure how my anonymous label translates to "Anthony Rogers", unless that was a freudian slip showing you have him on your mind, but the allusion had nothing to do with black people, unless of course you buy the Nation of Islam's claim. I wasn't aware that rank and file Muslims held this view as well. Very interesting.

Just what this has to do with my cookies and browser settings I really don't know, but evidently you have quite a thing against "whities". Surely I have as much ground to accuse you of this given your attack on "protestants" and "theonomists" (though of course both groups include people of all stripes) as you do when you misrepresent my statement that YOU were made from black mud (even though you are not black).

If I say some people's faces will be black on the day of judgment, would you take that as a racist slur as well?

Salam,

I live in Britain, but I was unaware that I (or anyone else here) was at risk from 'Christian' terrorist groups.

MR asked about the 2 genealogies

The answer is this:

Matt's genealogy is that of Joseph

While:

Luke's genealogy is that of Jesus

It goes up to Mary's father, and mother was Jesus' mother and Jesus had no father
